Coming Soon: Our Catalog!
We've been quite busy lately and wanted to give you a sneak peek at what we've been working on: our fall catalog. Our advertising agency, Pereira & O'Dell, made everything happen (oh man, they're great) — We had Luis Hernandez photographing our lovely model, Janna, while Elevation Salon handled hair + make-up, and we played stylist.

Newsy News: ORGANIC for CFDA
The finalists for this year's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund were announced recently and one of our best-loved lines, John Patrick's Organic, made the list! Out of 100 candidates, the organization picks the ten strongest, who are then in a running for as much as $200,000.
Here are a couple of looks from Organic's fall 2008 collection that we'll have in store for fall:
The winners of the cash prize will be announced in November.

We Love: La Ville-lumière
Ladurée, the greatest macaroons ever
After a recent buying trip, we decided to pay homage to one of our favorite
cities by sharing a few pictures we snapped during our much-too-short trip to
the City of Lights, or more properly, la Ville-lumière.
We absolutely love the macaroons from the Parisian tea salon, Ladurée.
The shops are adorable. Our favorite area is le Marais, so here are a couple
pictures of places we frequent each time we're in Paris.

Fall Trend: Mix & Match
The fall runways were full of color and wild prints, and we loved every bit of it. Some of the most exciting prints and combinations were seen at Thakoon's show, but Peter Som had some pretty wild prints thrown into the mix of a much more subdued collection than normal. We Love: Kara's Cupcakes

Melanie Charlton Fascitelli was welcomed at Carrots last night for the San Francisco launch of her new book Shop Your Closet…the ultimate style guide to organizing your closet and perfecting your wardrobe. The intimate affair was toasted with champagne, carrot cupcakes and smart closet conversations!
Melanie is young, energetic and quite the fashionista herself, which is all very reflective in her book. She arrived to the event wearing a chic fushcia colored Narciso Rodriguez dress with black mary-janes by Christian Louboutin.
Every woman should own one of these books to learn the tools of how to shop in your own closet everyday! The book helps to efficiently utilize your closet space while getting the most out of everything you have.
